This is a brass doorbell button for wired door chimes. The button features a lighted rim that illuminates the button at night. Around the rectangular edge, is an intricate rope design wrapping around the plate. While simple, this doorbell button will surely add a touch of class to any home or business.

Elegant looking finish. Light around button has nice glow. Only thing I found odd is button does not snap into plate. It simply fricton fits so if you wanted to you could pull it out from the front. Maybe the idea is easy access to terminals with plate installed.
